Cape Town Cape Town is the second most populous city in South Africa, famous for its harbour as well as its natural setting in the Cape floral kingdom, including such well-known landmarks as Table Mountain and Cape Point. Popular day activities include; Robben Island (Nelson Mandela's prison), Cape Point, Stellenbosch winery tour, diamond buying shops, and great white shark diving. Upon arrival into South Africa you will be met at the door of the plane and escorted through Customs and Immigration avoiding any queues. You will also receive all of your necessary documents for your trip which contains a detailed personalized itinerary, maps, restaurant suggestions, Top Tips for exploring each city or region and a 24 hour concierge service (for restaurant reservations, spa treatments, child minders, day tours etc). Day 2
Cape Town Today you will be met by your guide for an exploration of Cape Town, known affectionately as the Mother City. Your tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679, this is South Africa’s oldest building), lively Greenmarket Square with its daily market, the Company Gardens and of course Table Mountain which will give you spectacular views over the city and Peninsula (cable car fee is not included as it is weather dependent). On our descent, we stop at the Bo Kaap, home to the Cape Malay community, with its cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses. Overnight at Ellerman House. |

Day 3
Cape Town Today you'll embark on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. You'll see the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay before crossing over to Hout Bay where you may choose to join an optional boat cruiste to Seal Island. From here you'll drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak (subject to being open). Continue on this spectacular coastal drive where you'll take a funicular to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans as well as a spectacular view over False Bay. You'll enjoy lunch (own account) before continuing to Simonstown to visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. Next you'll meet up with your primate expert for your baboon interaction and a 2 hour walk. This project was created in an effort to create a level of awareness and appreciation for these intelligent creatures. Day 4
Cape Town Today a resident Winelands guide will join you for a tailor made wine experience, exploring the best this area has to offer. Your day can include Paarl with its imposing Afrikaans Language Monument and estates such as Seidelberg and Fairview - and of course the Franschhoek Valley, including exceptional estates such as Haute Cabriere Moreson, La Motte and Grande Provence. You will delight in the cheese tastings in the 200 year old barn at La Grange Fromagerie, chocolate tasting at the Franschhoek Chocolate factory and lunch at one of the top estates (own account but wine tastings included). Return to Franshhoek town with some time to relax before heading back to your hotel. Kruger Kruger National Park was established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, and is nearly 2 million hectares. It is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Man's interaction with the Lowveld environment over many centuries - from bushman rock paintings to majestic archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela - is very evident in the Kruger National Park. Take your flight from Cape Town to Kruger (KMIA) today. The flight duration is approximately 1.5hrs. Enjoy a private transfer between the airport and your hotel. Trip Terms & Conditions
- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
