Your private guide will take you game viewing in Nakuru, famous for rhino and the thousands of flamingos carpeted on the surface of the lake. Rift Valley Golf and Country Club is your third golf destination, on a championship 18 hole course set on the slopes of an extinct volcano. Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya, and the second highest in Africa (after Mount Kilimanjaro). The highest peaks of the mountain are Batian (5,199 m - 17,058 ft), Nelion (5,188 m - 17,022 ft) and Lenana (4,985 m - 16,355 ft). It is located in central Kenya, just south of the equator, around 150 km (95 miles) north-northeast of Nairobi. The area around the mountain is protected in the Mount Kenya National Park, which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountain is best seen at dawn, when the days early light silhouettes its impressive summit high over the surrounding plains.

Enjoy the drive from Nairobi to Mt. Kenya National Park through villages, towns, and up to the mountain's base. This drive will take about 3 hours.

Time permitting, there are many optional activities. Activities range from nature walks to cultural village visits. Some of these can be pre-booked through your destination specialist while others can be booked directly with the lodge upon arrival. Mount Kenya Safari Club Golf Course is unique for its views of nature's great anomaly - a snowcapped mountain lying on the equator. This exclusive retreat opened in 1959 as the private home of William Holden. Despite the fact that the course is a 9 hole pitch and putt, composed entirely of par 3 holes, it is quite challenging requiring accurate shot placement. The course is laid out on one of the most beautiful and serene settings in Africa, with a variety of flowers and birds. Today you can play a round of golf or participate in another Mt - Kenya optional activitites.

Naivasha is one of our favorite places to pause on safari. Lush, cool and relaxing, it is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. Boat tours on the lake are popular to observe birdlife and hippopotamus behavior, or exploreCrescentIslandon foot.

This morning you will leave Mt. Kenya and drive to Nakuru. Along the way you will see amazing scenery as you drop down into the Rift Valley. (3hours)

Your guide will drive you from Lake Naivasha to Nakuru. This passage of road is ideal for spotting wild game from the comfort of your vehicle. The drive will take around 1 hour.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. The lake's abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.

Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya, lying on the Indian Ocean. It has a major port and an international airport. The city is the centre of the coastal tourism industry. Known for spectacular and economical beaches, Mombasa has long been a get-away destination. A terrific value option to relax after a safari. There are several places to visit in Mombasa, including Fort Jesus, built by the Portuguese, and the Old Town, which has old Islamic architecture.

A local guide will drive you from Lake Naivasha, along the Rift Valley, to the beautiful city of Nairobi. This drive will take 1.5 hours.

Nyali Golf and Country Club's championship 18 hole course is located on the Indian Ocean coast. This 6510 yards par 71 course is gently rolling with a mix of right and left doglegs and shallow fairway bushes. Players will see an abundance of wildlife including dik-dik and bands of vervet monkeys, the club's mascot, frolicking about the course. While the course is not located on the ocean, the winds influence the playing conditions. The course displays a number of beautiful flowering trees, including the flamboyant Flame tree, originally from Madagascar.
