Day 1
Waikiki Waikiki is a neighborhood of Honolulu, in the City and County of Honolulu, on the south shore of the island of Oahu, in Hawaii. Waikiki Beach is the shoreline fronting Waikiki. Waikiki is home to public places including Kapiolani Park, Fort de Russy Military Reservation, Kahanamoku Lagoon, Kuhio Beach Park, and Ala Wai Harbor. The neighborhood extends from the Ala Wai Canal (a channel dug to drain former wetlands) on the west and north, to Diamond Head (Leahi) on the east. Waikiki Beach is noted for its views of the Diamond Head tuff cone, its usually warm and cloud-free climate and its surf break. The Waikiki skyline is now dotted with an abundance of both high-rises and resort hotels. The beach is actually fairly short, with half of it marked off for surfers. For some distance into the ocean the water is quite shallow, although there are numerous rocks on the bottom. As with most ocean beaches the waves can have some force, particularly on windy days. The surf at Waikiki is known for its long rolling break, making it ideal for long boarding, tandem surfing and beginners. Enjoy a private sedan airport transfer with meet and greet service and a lei greeting! Be brought back 100 years and 27 miles from Waikiki to an exclusive beach front property on the shores of West Oahu to experience a luau greeting followed by a wonderful dinner (included) on a shared late afternoon tour. The fun begins the moment you are picked up by friendly hosts from one of many convenient locations in Waikiki. Thirty “Hawaiian” minutes seem to pass quickly as you are entertained with songs, laughter, and lots of “Aloha Spirit” while riding in a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach. Upon arrival at the beach front property in question, a great buffet dinner featuring an array of tasty Hawaiian and American selections is presented to you for your pleasure and is sure to please. After dinner, the night is filled with beauty, color, and excitement as the multi-talented kane (men) and wahine (women) take you on a non-stop, musical journey throughout the islands of Polynesia. (Three cocktails are included with unlimited soft drinks). At the end of the evening, you will be brought back to a central point in Waikiki. Retreat to a brilliant tropical playground at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa - situated only steps from world-famous Waikiki Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Spanning 5.2 acres of picturesque beauty and splendor, this spectacular Waikiki Hawaii hotel resort blends the spirit of "Aloha" with an atmosphere that is warm, comfortable and inviting. Here, you create your own paradise. Located next to the celebrated Diamond Head Crater -- near a dazzling host of attractions and sights -- our luxurious Waikiki hotel accommodations offer unrivaled service, in a landmark setting. Unwind on your own private balcony, as soothing ocean breezes caress you. Or relax poolside with a cool drink in hand. Overnight at Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa (4*). |

Day 2
Waikiki Observe Hawaii's spectacular rainforest plants as you walk into the lush Koolau mountains that rise above the aquamarine waters of Kaneohe Bay on a shared, moderate, two hour morning hike. See several beautifully feathered tropical bird species, as you visit a secluded, cascading waterfall that spills into a tranquil private rainforest pool. Explore a tropical jungle and marvel at the majestic "Pali cliffs" towering above you. Let the peaceful solitude of this magical place envelope you while colorful tropical blossoms of heliconias, ginger, cinnamon and papaya fill the air with pleasant fragrance. Additional highlights of this tour include the scenic waterfalls of Nuuanu Valley, Queen Emma's Summer Palace and the Pali Lookout. Excellent photographic opportunities! This is a moderate hike, suitable for those in good physical condition. Because the area receives high rainfall occasionally and slippery trail conditions might occur, only children who are able to walk the required distance on their own are permitted on this trail. To ensure safety, baby carriers are not recommended for this trail. Overnight at Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa (4*). |

Day 4
Poipu Head to the south shore of Kauai to visit one of America's best beaches (The "Travel Channel" once named Poipu America's Best Beach). The inviting waters of Poipu make it very popular with visitors, locals, and even with local marine life. From November through March, it’s not uncommon to spot humpback whales spouting off shore. Large green sea turtles also swim in these waters. But Poipu Beach is most famous for being a place where the endangered Hawaiian Monk seals sometimes sunbathe unabashedly on the shore. There are roughly only 1,300 Hawaiian Monk Seals remaining and about 20 swim in the waters of Kauai. The law requires that you give these endangered animals plenty of space on land and in sea. Snorkelling in Poipu reveals a variety of colorful fish including the state fish, the humuhumunukunukuapuaa. Or if you just want to relax, simply pack a picnic and spend the day with the family. There's no better way to end your day in Kauai than watching a stunning sunset in Poipu! Enjoy a private sedan airport transfer with meet and greet service and a lei greeting! One way flight on Hawaiian Airlines from Honolulu (Oahu) to Lihue (Kauai). Please note flight prices and times are all approximate and will be confirmed at time of booking, depending on availability. You will be met at Lihue Airport, and provided with a transfer to Lihue. Enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel. Synonymous with Hawaiian hospitality and aloha spirit, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa is a reflection of the island's breathtaking beauty and charm, with architecture reminiscent of early Hawaii. The resort includes: 7 restaurants and 6 lounges, a water playground with waterfalls, an expansive saltwater lagoon, tennis, ANARA Spa, and golf at the adjacent Poipu Bay Golf Course. Every day is different and each location has different features -the trick is learning to appreciate that which is unique about each area. You will be briefed on the site, what you can expect to see, how to avoid damaging the environment, and how to snorkel (and look good doing it!). Snorkelling is very easy and most people learn to relax and enjoy the experience quickly. This tour is suitable for non-swimmers and those with limited mobility. Please speak to your agent if you have any questions or concerns. Snacks and beverages are included. Enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace, or relax at your hotel. Day 6
Poipu Experience Kauai's natural wonders from a perspective few visitors ever get to see. Fasten your seat belts because you will be going on a bumpy ride into the heart of Kauai. The trail crosses streams and winds through the dense forest to the, "Gate", used in Jurassic Park. After parking at the gate, you will have an easy half hour stroll past wild flowers and gorgeous vistas to the source, where water is diverted into the irrigation system of Lihue Plantation. This is a great opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Hawaii from experienced guides in a breathtaking natural environment. The weather can be unpredictable and heavy rain will be cause for cancellation. A little rain is no problem as umbrellas, ponchos and walking sticks are provided, as well as back packs, snacks and beverages. (no rain, no rainbows) There is a total of about 3 miles of walking involved in this tour. The trail is not difficult but between the bumpy roads and the walking, this tour is not recommended for people with neck or back problems, people prone to motion sickness or who are not at least moderately fit. Enjoy an amazing zipline canopy experience that combines zipping high above the treetops with unique exciting bridge walks. Soar through a lush forest of 200 foot tall Norfolk Pine trees on ziplines up to 800 feet in length! Fly 60 – 80 feet above the ground over mango, bamboo, eucalyptus, native plant and bird life. The mountain views are outstanding and ecology narratives are included. This thrilling and impressive treetop tour is sure to be etched in your memory forever.
