Day 1
Abacos Islands The Abaco Islands lie in the northern Bahamas and comprise the main islands of Great Abaco and Little Abaco, together with the smaller Wood Cay, Elbow Cay, Lubbers Quarters Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Great Guana Cay, Castaway Cay, Man-o-War Cay, Stranger's Cay, Umbrella Cay, Great Stirrup Cay, Walker's Cay, Moore's Island, and Sandy Point. Administratively, the Abaco Islands constitute five of the 31 Districts of the Bahamas: North Abaco, Central Abaco, South Abaco, Moore's Island, and Hope Town. Towns in the islands include Marsh Harbour, Hope Town, Treasure Cay, Coopers Town, and Cornishtown. Take a private transfer to the airport for your departing flight. After boarding your yacht and settling in, you will meet up with the other guests and enjoy some cocktails and dinner. Your crew will discuss the week’s agenda so you know exactly what is in store. The Lagoon 440 Sailing catamaran features three guest cabins, each with private ensuite bathrooms. Each cabin features a queen size berth with individual reading lamps, hanging closet, drawers, cupboards and bathroom vanity providing plenty of privacy, comfort and storage space. The bathroom features a toilet, vanity, sink, medicine cabinet and shower/faucet. The charter layout features four cabins and four heads (one is taken up by crew and three are for guests). Internet is limited to certain locations and not available in all destinations. The catamaran is very stable and comfortable. All sailing is done during the day and anchored at night in protected coves and bays to assure a restful night's sleep. Overnight at Lagoon 440 sailing catamaran. |

Day 2
Abacos Islands After breakfast this morning, enjoy the cruise towards Great Guana Cay where the anchor will be dropped off a lovely cay in Fishers Bay. Great Guana is the home of the locally famous Nippers Bar with its equally famous Sunday hog roast. Set with a back drop of a beautiful Atlantic long white beach, Nippers is the ideal way to while away your Sunday. Consider a stroll along the beach - there is a five and a half mile long beach on the ocean side of the island which is one of the longest in the Bahamas, or some snorkeling or diving - the island hosts one of the best surviving coral reefs in the Bahamas. Alternatively, if you feel like just soaking in the laid back atmosphere, head to Nippers bar and sip on a drink and taste the local fare - the choice of activity is yours. Please note that diving is permitted from the boat if you have all necessary equipment, including tanks, and hold a valid certification card however the crew cannot assist in the diving. Rendezvous dives are available if they are booked in advance and a dive charter company will meet up with the boat for those who wish to dive. There would be a supplemental charge for this. Please speak to your Sales Advisor if this is of interest. The luxury Lagoon 440 represents the leading edge of catamaran design with decks unencumbered by sail tie-backs. The vessel was voted Charter Boat of the Year by cruising World Magazine 2005, and features headroom of 6'9'' throughout, an 8 person dining in rear cockpit, forward trampolines, forward bench seating, deck shower and air conditioning throughout. The open deckside allows for plenty of room to move around and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Inside, the air conditioned salon features large 360 degree windows, allowing for picture postcard views. All cruise departures include a captain and a chef/hostess. The vessel has air-conditioning in the main salon as well as having individual controls for each cabin. When at anchor, a generator which is located beneath the seat in the rear cockpit supplies the necessary energy to run the AC. For those who prefer the natural breeze, each cabin offers a cabin deck hatch and port hole as well as a top hatch in the bath which allows air to flow throughout this area.
