Day 1
Eilat Eilat is Israel's southernmost city, a busy port as well as a popular resort, located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, on the Gulf of Eilat. Home to 46,900 people, the city is part of the Southern Negev Desert, at the southern end of the Arava. The city is adjacent to the Egyptian village of Taba, to the south, and the Jordanian port city of Aqaba, to the east. Eilat's semi-arid desert climate is moderated by proximity to a warm sea. Temperatures often exceed 40 °C (104 °F) in summer, and 18 °C (64 °F) in winter, while water temperatures range between 20 and 26 °C (68-79 °F). The city's beaches, nightlife and desert landscapes make it a popular destination for domestic and international tourism. Kensington Tours donates a portion of proceeds to our charitable initiative www.kensingtoncares.com which supports education-based initiatives in disadvantaged communities. Avail of a private Airport transfer in Eilat. The Dan Panorama Hotel is ideally located for a vacation that blends sun and fun with Eilat's spectacular natural attractions. The hotel overlooks Eilat's lovely lagoon, just a few minutes’ walk from the relaxing North Beach, where the clear waters of the Red Sea lap the sunny shores perfect for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling and a variety of water sports. Eilat’s climate is ideal for sun lovers, as it is warm and sunny all year round. Overnight at Dan Panorama Hotel. |

Day 2
Eilat Spend the day exploring Petra in the company of a private Guide and vehicle. After being picked up from your hotel in Eilat, you will be driven to the Arava border. Our representatives will meet and assist you with the border procedures. You'll then be driven for approximately 2 hours by air conditioned transportation to Petra. On arrival at the visitor centre your private Guide will escort you into Petra through the Siq and show you the highlights of the Nabatean city. You will enter the city and be rewarded with the most astonishing and dramatic monument in Jordan: the Treasury. You will also visit the theatre, the tombs and facades and the colonnaded street. Enjoy lunch (included) and afterwards, sit back and relax on the drive back to Aqaba for an optional city tour then back to Eilat. (Note: The prices do not include the border taxes and tips of $65 per person, to be paid on the spot, and are subject to change without prior notice). Overnight at Dan Panorama Hotel. |

Day 3
Eilat Be amazed during this deep sea experience, whilst staying completely dry, as you visit Eilat’s famous Underwater Observatory. A mere 100 meters from the beach, on the slope leading down to the sea's depths, is this unique structure which was built in 1974, and was designed to reach the deep seabed. From the windows at the base of the tower, the mysteries of the deep pass before the eyes. The coral reef which has developed around the tower provides visitors with endless surprises and experiences, as schools of colourful fishes dart through the waters and disappear into the coral maze. Enjoy a ride on the glass floored Coral 200 cruise ship, which takes you further out into the sea for a thrilling underwater experience. The Oceanarium hosts a dramatic, interactive film, that takes you on a journey under the sea on the back of Manta Ray, a truly unique experience. Enjoy this visit to Dolphin Reef and experience some interactive snorkelling with dolphins. Each session is conducted in guided groups of up to three people with one guide for the whole group. A mask, snorkel, fins, and wetsuit are provided, but it is important that you have used a snorkel and mask before, as there is very little time to learn. Your group will swim out not far from the shore, but to deep water (14 meters or 45 feet deep) and watch the dolphins as well as a big variety of fish and corals. For your own safety, it is important that we will be notified if you suffer from the following: ear problems, respiratory problems (e.g. asthma, sinus and bronchitis), heart problems, high/low blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes or claustrophobia. If you have had recent surgery or illness, have open wounds, take medication, or suffer from other medical problems or limitations we must be notified. Pregnant women are not allowed to swim with the dolphins. Overnight at Dan Panorama Hotel. |
