Day 1
Ljubljana Airport transfer with private vehicle and driver Kensington Tours donates a portion of proceeds to our charitable initiative www.kensingtoncares.com which supports education-based initiatives in disadvantaged communities. Enjoy dinner at leisure (not included in tour price). Located in the interior of the beautiful Ljubljana, City Hotel (3*) offers warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations to all travelers with modern rooms, apartments with kitchenettes, and rooms for guests with special needs. Before setting off on a tour of the capital, guests are served a hearty breakfast that is varied and plentiful. The hotel is easily accessible from all main city roads and is ideally located for optimal sightseeing. Consider this hotel as your starting point for discovering the beautiful city of Ljubljana and as a place to catch a good night's sleep before continuing on your adventure. Ljubljana is the largest city and capital of Slovenia. It is regarded as the cultural, scientific, economic, political and administrative center of the country. Its transport connections, concentration of industry, scientific and research institutions and industrial tradition are contributing factors to its leading economic position. Ljubljana has a strong Alpine feel to it and the architecture underlines this impression - there is also a touch of the Mediterranean (thanks to its geographical proximity). Ljubljana was devastated by earthquakes several times. After an earthquake in 1511, Ljubljana was rebuilt in the Renaissance style, and after an earthquake in 1895 severely damaged the city, the city was rebuilt in Neo-Classicist and Secession (Art Nouveau) styles. The city's Baroque architecture was mainly influenced by Italian Baroque architecture.

And now, for decades already, the pilgrims of the new age have been discovering this town. Cosmopolitan seekers of diversity and beauty, of relaxation and inspiration, tranquillity and the challenges of sport will find here a multitude of opportunities.
