There will be plenty of time to stay at each of the sites of interest since you have the flexibility of having your own vehicle and Guide. Though sobering, the day will surely be a memorable one. Caen is a commune in northwestern France. It is the prefecture of the Calvados department and the capital of the Basse-Normandie region. It is located 15 km (6 mi) inland from the English Channel.
