Every day besides Monday, the white Lipizzan stallions are put through their paces by their riders. The primary objective is to maintain the horses' athleticism and health, as well as to build up various muscle groups that are necessary for performing the exercises of the haute école. Come and experience the daily morning exercises - at times performed to music!

Salzburg is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg. Spend part of today tobogganing in Abtenau and enjoy some pure Winter pleasure! The sled equipment can be rented directly from the mountain station from where you hop on the cabintrain to the station at the top of the mountain where there is a nice retreat in the Karkogel hut.  The toboggan run was built especifically for sledding and therefore is always an ideal slope. The toboggan course is illuminated at night, so evening activity is also possible. The toboggan course ends at the mountain station's outdoor bar where you can relax and enjoy the vistas and the ambiance of the ski hill. (includes transportation to and from Salzburg).

A unique opportunity to experience the Winter Wonderland in Salzburg is taking a half day excursion to the enchanting village of Faistenau.
