Day 1
Kiev Kiev is the capital and the largest city of Ukraine, located in the northern part of the country on the Dnieper River. Day 2

It is a beautiful city with its centuries-old history and rich culture. The tour includes a visit to Vladimir’s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late 19th century decorated by world renowned artists. You will examine magnificent mosaics and frescoes of St. Sophia Cathedral the oldest temple in the Eastern Slavonic states built in the beginning of the 11th century to glorify the victory of Prince Yaroslav the Wise over Pechenegs’ tribes. You will enjoy amazing views of two golden-domed monastery complexes while walking along Sophiiska and Mykhailivska Squares. The tour continues to St. Andrew’s Church a striking piece of baroque architecture of the 18th century built according to the designs of well-known architect B.Rastrelli on the top of Vladimir’s Hill. Andriivskyi Uzviz (Descent) that starts from St. Andrew’s Church will impress you with its unique atmosphere. It is a short street meandering down through the luxuriant vegetation of Vladimir’s Hill to the picturesque Podil. Day 3
Kiev Take a visit to the Chernobyl museum in the company of an English speaking Guide with a private vehicle. The museum chronicles the biggest ever radioecological disaster which occurred at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station in 1986, just 70 miles from Kiev.The bulk of this exhibition, including hundreds of photos and witnessed testimonials are shown to you through the medium of modern technical and audio/visual aids. Over seven thousand exhibits are on show in five different halls helping visitors understand what happened on that fateful day. Some of these exhibits contain items that originate within the Power Plant as well as items that come from people who died in the disaster. Maps, secret documents, photos and items from homes give you a better understanding of the lives people led here. Many exhibits are exposed for the first time and all demonstrate the negative effects a disaster like this has on our planet. The entrance fee is included in the tour cost and at the end of your tour you will be brought back to your hotel. Enjoy a half a day tour to the Ethnographic Museum in Kiev, located in the suburbs of the town of Pirogivo. Three hundred ancient rural huts, collected from all over Ukraine can be seen in Pirogovo. The majority of them were moved to the museum and then reconstructed. Huts, wooden churches, water and wind mills, clothes and kitchen utensils, dating back to the period of the 17th century to beginning of the 20th century, give a realistic impression of this era. Day 4
Moscow The focal point of Moscow is Red Square, on one side of which is the Kremlin surrounded by a thick red fortress wall containing 20 towers altogether. There a several gorgeous buildings in the square including the Uspensky Cathedral, the 14th-century Grand Kremlin Palace, the golden-domed Belfry of Ivan the Great, and the renowned St Basil’s Cathedral, famous for its brightly colored domes. Lenin’s Mausoleum is also located in Red Square and is still open to the public on certain days. Outside Red Square, Tverskaya Street is one of the main shopping streets. Old Arbat Street is a pedestrian zone with crafts and artists’ stalls and street performers. The world-famous Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater at Teatralnaya Square dates from 1824. Novodevichy Convent near Sportivnaya metro station houses a museum of rare and ancient Russian art, and is one of the finest examples of 16th- and 17th-century architecture in the city. The Metro system itself is steeped in history, with many of stations featuring beautiful decoration. Other sites include the superb Tretyakov Gallery, the Annunciation and Our Lady of Kazan Cathedrals, Gorky Park, and the macbre KGB museum. Day 6
St. Petersburg St Petersburg is known as a cultural center and for its elegant buildings, and is spread over 42 islands in the delta of the River Neva. In comparison to Moscow, which tended to be more Eastern in character, St Petersburg has always retained a European flavor and was intended as a ‘Window to the West’. It was built by Peter the Great in 1703 and remained the capital of Tsarist Russia for 200 years. Wide boulevards, tranquil canals, bridges and some of the best examples of tsarist architecture gave rise to the epithet the ‘Venice of the North’. The Palace Square and the Winter Palace (Hermitage Museum) are among the most popular attractions for enthusiasts of Russian history. Novodevichy Convent is one of the most beautiful Moscow convents, founded at the beginning of 16th century. The complex consists of 15 buildings, surmounted by golden domes. For 400 years the Novodevichy Convent was part of important historical events, connected with the names of Ivan the Terrible, Boris Godunov, Sofia and Peter I. The architectural ensemble of the convent was formed by the end of 17th century and till now remains one of the best in Russia. Day 9

It was founded at the very beginning of the 18th century by Emperor Peter the Great.
