Experience the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, a race which has long been considered the most important and prestigious automobile race in the world. Under the watchful eye of three generations of Monaco's royal family this race provides and exceptional location of glamour and distinction to motor sports. The race has been held on the same circuit each year since 1929 as the world's premiere drivers navigate through the famous harbour and into the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine. The race is held on a narrow course with many elevation changes and tight corners as well as a tunnel, making it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One. Watch as Australian Mark Webber returns to Monaco in search of back-to-back wins on what is widely considered to be the most challenging and perilous F1 Circuit.

Day 1 Nice

Nice is the capital of the French Riviera and a glittering jewel of the Côte d'Azur. It is a city built on wealth and prestige, and not a little pretension. Head away from the Promenade and you'll find a different, more thoughtful Nice. History shows itself in the Roman and Grecian ruins in the Parc du Château, art manifests itself in the form of the outstanding Chagall and Matisse collections, and the old town simply oozes Mediterranean charm.

Airport transfer with private vehicle and English speaking driver. (A supplement for transfer between 8pm and 7am may be charged).

Le Meridien Nice (4*) hotel occupies a dream location at Number One, Promenade des Anglais, overlooking the magnificent Baie des Anges. It is a few steps from the Old Town and offers a panoramic rooftop terrace. With the Albert 1st Gardens to its east, the hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city. Acropolis, the city's convention centre, is less than three kilometres from the hotel, and Sophia Antipolis, the leading European science park, is 25 minutes by car. The famous sightseeing spots of Nice are a five minute walk from the hotel. The modern guest rooms at Le Meridien Nice have views of the sea, the Albert 1st Gardens, or the hotel patio. Each is air conditioned and includes a mini-bar and satellite TV, and most also feature a balcony. Enjoy a half day tour with your English speaking private Guide, vehicle and driver. Upon leaving Nice, we drive through the charming countryside of Provence. View the Alps, valleys and spectacular coastline from the amazing perched medieval village of Gourdon. After a short stop, winding down charming Loup Gorges, and taste Riviera’s speciality flower sweets at traditional Florian Confectionary. Photo stop by a provencal jewl: Tourrettes-sur-Loup. End the tour in the second most visited village in France: St Paul de Vence with ancient cobblestone lanes, fortified walls and art galleries, home of impressionist painters. At the end of the tour, you will be brought back to your hotel in Nice.

  • Your non-refundable deposit is due immediately on booking (50% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 120 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
  • Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
  • Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
  • Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 120 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
  • Cancellations 120 days or more prior to departure will be loss of deposit. 0-119 days will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
