Day 1
Shannon The wide sweep of the River Shannon both gives its name to and defines the varied region of Western Ireland, running through the counties of Clare and Limerick as well as parts of Tipperary and Offaly. Avail of a private airport transfer in Shannon in a private chauffeured vehicle. Depending on your arrival time today, you may have your vehicle and driver at your disposal for the remainder of the day. A welcome package with your vouchers, a city map, train tickets (if relevant) and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip. Day 3
Killarney Killarney town is located north of the MacGillicuddy Reeks, on the northeastern shore of the Lough Lein/Leane which are part of Killarney National Park. The town is home to St. Mary's Cathedral, Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey, Torc Waterfall and Gap of Dunloe.Killarney was awarded the "Best Kept Town" award for 2007 in a cross-border competition jointly organised by the Department of the Environment and the Northern Ireland Amenity Council. Owing to its natural heritage, history and proximity to the Dingle Peninsula, Skellig Michael island and its location on the Ring of Kerry, Killarney is a popular tourist destination. Your drive from Shannon area to Killarney should take approximately 2 hours. Upon reaching Killarney, you will get to see the Highlights of The Ring of Kerry as your driver-guide takes in the very best of this magical peninsula in a unique and unforgettable drive through the heart of the National Park. Day 7
Dublin We will take you on a guided tour of Dublin City today. Our guide will show you Dublin’s major attractions such as Trinity College and the Book of Kells, perhaps the world’s most beautifully illustrated book. In the city centre region there is also St Patrick's Cathedral, Christchurch and the famous Guinness Brewery. There are a host of shopping and museums and galleries to explore in the historical Georgian district near St Stephens Green. We highly recommend the National Museum, Natural History Museum and the National Gallery to name a few. (Entrance fees not included). Enjoy a half day private tour in the company of a private vehicle, driver and guide exploring the ancient site of Newgrange - one of the great wonders of western ancient civilization that needs to be seen close up to be fully appreciated. Predating the Pyramids, it is a complex chamber that is perfectly aligned to catch the morning sun on the winter solstice. There are two other major tombs at Knowth and Dowth, both equally impressive and different in character. Nearby is the River Boyne where the famous Battle of the Boyne took place. - Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
