Day 1
Zurich Zurich is Switzerland's most important city economically, and a major European business centre. Zurich also boasts the biggest and best cultural attractions in the nation. The Swiss National Museum, Switzerland's largest church and a truly international selection of restaurants are just a few of the attractions that draw visitors to this beautiful city. Zurich embraces change. It was one of the leading lights of the Reformation and even today the city has an exciting Modern Art movement best seen in the excellent Kunsthaus and the Fraümunster Church. More traditional entertainment can be found at the Opera House and from the Tonhalle Orchestra, one of Europe's finest musical ensembles. Enjoy an airport transfer with private vehicle and driver. A welcome package with your itinerary, vouchers, a city map, train tickets (if relevant) and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip. Basilea Hotel (3*) is located just a 5 minute walk from Zurich’s main railway station, right in the heart of the historic old town. Day 2
Zurich Combine culture with nature! Visit the main sights of Zurich: the Old Town, the biggest church clock-face in Europe on St. Peter’s tower, the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai, the Guild Houses. Picture stop at the harbour where you will enjoy incredible views of Lake Zurich, the city and surrounding hills. In depth description of the famous Chagall stained glass Windows at Fraumünster-Church. The City-Tour includes a short walk through die Old Town. The journey continues to Adliswil for a ride by aerial cable car to Felsenegg where you enjoy beautiful views over Zurich, the lake and the white peaks of the Alps. Day 3
Zurich This lovely excursion takes you to an idyllic region of Eastern Switzerland, where old traditions are used to the present day. The journey will take you on a Panorama-Highway to Rapperswil, well known for its medieval castle. Continue to Stein, visit the cheese factory, where the famous Appenzeller cheese is made. Your journey further takes you to the picturesque town of Appenzell. Enjoy a guided walk through the small town with its lovely old painted houses. You then have approx. two hours at leisure. The pedestrian zone with its beautiful facades invites you for strolling and shopping. Avail of an optional visit to the Museum of Appenzell, where you can learn about way of life in this part of Switzerland. Take a short trip to the chocolate factory MAESTRANI where you will get an introduction to the art of chocolate making followed by a tasting. Take the opportunity to shop in the factory afterwards. Then relax on your direct return to Zurich by coach. The entire tour is with a multilingual guide. Overnight at Basilea (3*) . |

Trip Terms & Conditions
- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $250). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure. We accept payment via credit card, certified check, wire transfer or money order.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.
