Discover the Yukon in Canada's arctic north. Whitehorse is on the Alaska highway and has the distinction of being one of Canada's driest cities. So although temperatures drop in the winter, it is a comfortable and ideal gateway to experience the north. The northern lights are particularly visible due to the clear air. Born during the Klondike gold rush, Whitehorse retains much of the self-sufficient prospector qualities, and a walking tour around town is a memorable experience. Visit a top ranked dogsledding kennel and stay for a Yukon BBQ. This tour features a full day dogsledding experience (Nov-Mar) or private canoe/kayak guided tour on Cabin Lake (other months). Add a scenic flight, helicopter ride, or snowmobile day tour as an optional activity.

Enjoy as a stand-alone tour, customize with extra days or activities to suit your needs, or combine with one of our many other Canada tours. Kensington Tours specializes in private customized tours, crafted specifically for your pleasure.
