Day 1

Day 2
Montreal Today you enjoy a fascinating sightseeing tour of Montreal. Highlights of this fully-narrated tour area include: a photo stop at the beautiful Notre Dame (entrance not included), the residential and financial districts, historic Old Montreal, an outside view of the Olympic Complex, a photo stop at St Joseph Oratory, an outside view of the campus of McGill University and a panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mont Royal. Day 3
Quebec City Your car and driver will pick you up and deliver you to your train station. As well a car and driver will be waiting for you in Quebec City to take you to your hotel. Board your train for a scenic rail journey to Quebec City on board VIA Rail’s The Corridor. Travelling along the northern shore of the St. Lawrence River, you pass charming Cap-de-la-Madeleine with its national shrine to the Virgin Mary and the historic community of Trois-Rivières. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure or exploring the intriguing shops and patios that line the city streets. Overnight at Hotel PUR. |

Day 4
Quebec City This morning take some time to discover the unique history of one of Canada’s oldest cities. Quebec City is the only city in North America with city walls and gates earning it a United Nations World Heritage Site distinction. You may choose to visit such sights as the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Fortifications, the National Assembly or Place Royale and the Basilica. Welcome Pavilion of the Hotel de Glace and check-in for your one-night stay. During this time you may take a guided tour (available between 12:00 – 17:30) of the hotel and the sculpture park surrounding it, or enjoy a drink at the famous N’Ice club Bar in the hotel lobby.
After a day of touring, you may wish to visit the spa area and relax in the whirlpool. Towel and bathrobe available upon request. During your visit of the Hotel de Glace, you can also enjoy various activities nearby such as cross country skiing, dogsledding, snowmobiling, massages, treatments and a Nordic spa. Please let your sales advisor know if you would like to add this to your itinerary. In Quebec, winter temperatures vary from -25°C to 5°C. The three layer clothing technique is recommended. An interior layer (synthetic clothing or a mix of wool and synthetic fabric); a middle layer (wool, flannel or polar fleece sweater) and an exterior layer that shields wind and humidity without affecting your comfort and movements. Additionally, a hat covering your ears, scarf, gloves or mittens and boots (big enough so that you can wear thick socks) are required. For the night, use dry, light and synthetic clothing which will not have been worn during the day. Long underwear and secondary gloves, hat and scarf are also recommended. Day 5
Quebec City Enjoy a warm beverage and a delicious breakfast at the Celsius Pavilion of the Hotel de Glace. Board your train for a return rail journey to Montreal on board VIA Rail’s The Corridor. Meet your driver for a private airport transfer. Depart from International Airport. End of itinerary. Overnight at Depart (Int`l Airport). |
