Let Captain David Hawkins, Corporal Jonathan Hoyt, Bully Jim Denton, Freelove Bliss, and others show you Boston's Historic Freedom Trail like you've never seen it before. America's Path to Independence, the walking tour of Boston is led by unique colonial characters created by trained historical interpreters. During your tour you'll see The Boston Common, Old Granary Burying Ground, Kings Chapel, and the Old South Meeting House, to name just a few. Day 3
Boston Cross the Cape Cod Canal into a world of scrub pine and sand dunes. The Cape Cod Canal is an artificial waterway traversing the narrow neck of land that joins Cape Cod to mainland Massachusetts. In Hyannisport a small residential village, enjoy a lectured cruise on Lewis Bay, with a close up view of the Kennedy Compound. Time at leisure for lunch (not included) after the cruise. Then travel through quaint towns to Provincetown, known for its beautiful beaches and picturesque dune lands, where you will have ample time for shopping. A spectacular sunset adds a whole new dimension to this 90 minute sightseeing tour. With this cruise you’ll be introduced to all the history, sights and lore that Boston Harbor has to offer, plus you’ll be on hand to witness the USS Constitution’s sunset serenade as she fires her cannon and lowers her flag ceremoniously signaling the day’s end. Day 4
Boston Transfer using a local taxi. Please note that this is not included in trip price and is payable locally. There are lots of things you can see and do during your stay in Boston... Take a guided walking tour through the most interesting neighborhoods of the city; try the Boston Duck tour - an authentic World War II amphibious landing vehicle, renovated for sightseeing, or lunch on a boat cruise while viewing the spectacular Boston skyline. Consider taking a day trip to Plimoth Plantation where you will become part of the Pilgrims' 17th century world. Want to explore some witchcraft? Take the Salem Witch city tour.
