Day 1
Buenos Aires Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina, located on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata. The city has a spectacular legacy of architecture and parks, and its citizens consider themselves European. It is famous for the tango, superb restaurants, and the best shopping on the continent. The city has numerous museums related to history, and art in its many forms; fine, modern, decorative, popular, sacred and arts and crafts, as well as theatre and popular music. It is also known for its preserved homes of noted art collectors, writers, composers and artists. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative who will help you locate your vehicle. Day 2
Buenos Aires There are so many things to see and do in the city of Buenos Aires that you will be spoiled for choice!
Consider taking a riverboat to Tigre which llies on the Paraná Delta, English-style rowing clubs, countless marinas, humble dwellings and elegant mansions from the “Belle Époque”, such as the Tigre Club,are to be seen, as well as small pensions and upscale lodges, restaurants, teahouses and simple picnic sites.
If the outdoors are your passion, head out to a nearby "Estancia" where you can enjoy a BBQ lunch or perhaps a traditional folklore show. Or spend the day in Uruguay visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Colonia del Sacramento.

Day 3
El Calafate El Calafate is a little village in Patagonia, Argentina. It is situated in the southern border of Lake Argentino, in the southwest part of the Santa Cruz Province, about 320 km Northwest from Río Gallegos. The city is an important tourist destination as the hub to visit different parts of the Los Glaciares National Park, including the Perito Moreno Glacier (one of the most visited in the world) and the Cerro Chaltén and Cerro Torre. Day 4
El Calafate Your private driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby to take you on a full day guided excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier, one of Argentina's prime touristic attractions. The 30 km (19 mi) long glacier, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system shared with Chile, it is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water and one of only three Patagonian glaciers that are not retreating.
You will travel about about 2 hours to reach the Glaciers National Park and from the beginning you will see this trip has pleasant surprises! Already in the outskirts of El Calafate, you can see the Argentine Lake with its Round Bay populated with an important variety of birds such as the black neck swan, flamencos, duck steams, gallaretas, the cauquén and coirones. You will enter about 26 km into the Glaciers National Park where you will observe the arboreal vegetation formed by ñires, sour cherries and lengas. As well as some flowers of diverse colors like the outstanding “notro” with its intense red colour.
A large visitor centre at the site features a walking circuit which allows views of different faces and the surface of the glacier. There is also a restaurant at the site, if you feel like stopping and having some lunch (not included). Throughout the day your guide will explain the general features of the glacier and give specific details of Glacier Perito Moreno's flora and fauna, and its particular formation.

Day 5
Ushuaia Ushuaia is the world's second-southernmost city and is located on the southern tip of the island of Tierra del Fuego. Guarded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia is a key access point to the southern regions. The city and nearby national park is a popular vacation spot for Buenos Aires. Ushuaia is one of the departure points for Antarctic expeditions and for visiting the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas). Day 6
Ushuaia Partake in a half day private tour with your own vehicle, driver and guide to explore the Tierra del Fuego National Park, situated 11 km from Ushuaia. The park was established in 1960 with the intention of protecting the southernmost portion of the sub Antarctic forest and is made up of 63000 hectares. Unlike many other parks, it combines the ocean, forests and mountains. The biological richness of the Tierra del Fuego Island with its beautiful scenery is simply stunning. You can find animals such as red foxes, cauquenes, ducks, Patagonian wood peckers and more than 90 species of birds that are part of the Fuegian fauna, as well as beavers and rabbits, which were introduced to the island by colonizers. The forest is formed by lengas, guindos, ñires and valleys of peat and lichens. Ensenada Bay, Lake Roca and Lapataia Bay (the end of the Pan-American Highway that connects Alaska and Tierra del Fuego) give color to this unique place where we can still find reminders of the ancestral inhabitants: the yámanas. Day 7
Ushuaia We sail through the Beagle and Murray channels to reach Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark (weather permitting). Cape Horn is a sheer, 425-meter (1,394-foot) high rocky promontory, and in the past it was the only entrance to the Pacific Ocean. This place is known as the “End of the Earth”, and it’s the last territory before Antarctica. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in June 2005. In the afternoon, we go ashore in historic Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region’s largest Yamana aboriginal settlements. Charles Darwin landed here on January 23rd, 1833, during the voyage of the HMS Beagle. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will walk through a Magellanic forest of Lengas, Coihues, Canelos, ferns, and other native vegetation to reach a look-out point. Overnight at Via Australis 4 nt Cruise . |

Day 8
Ushuaia In the morning we navigate along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to enter Pia Fiord where we disembark near Pia Glacier. We take a short hike to a vantage point with a spectacular view of the mountain chain giving origin to this impressive glacier moving slowly down the valley until it falls into the sea.
In the afternoon we enter Garibaldi fiord on the southern coast of Tierra del Fuego, where we will do an incredible excursion through Patagonia’s cold jungle and a hike through the forest up to a waterfall of glacial origin. There is a spectacular view from this spot. For those who stay onboard, our Capitan will point the bow towards the beautiful blue Garibaldi glacier, and the panoramic views may be enjoyed from the outdoor decks. Day 9
Ushuaia In the morning we sail through Cockburn Channel to anchor in Chico Sound. Our adventure begins in the Zodiac boats to explore Alakaluf Fiord, where we will see beautiful waterfalls and observe the Piloto and Nena Glaciers from the sea. The intense blue color of Piloto Glacier due to its compression and age draws attention. We will learn about the formation of glaciers and their influence on the abrupt geography of the Fuegian-Patagonian channels.
In the afternoon we enter Agostini Sound, a spectacularly beautiful area located in the heart of the Darwin Mountain Range in Tierra del Fuego. Here we can view glaciers descending from the mountains, some of which reach the sea. We will head to Águila Glacier where we will disembark to take an easy walk along a beach bordering a lagoon surrounded by mountains until reaching a spot in front of the glacier. Day 10
Santiago Santiago is the capital of Chile, and its largest city. Two decades of uninterrupted economic growth have transformed Santiago into one of Latin America's most modern metropolitan areas, with extensive suburban development, dozens of shopping malls, and impressive high-rise architecture. Santiago has an excellently preserved city square that is very pleasant for a leisurely walk. It also boasts numerous museums, parks, churches and fine restaurants for dining. For a taste of world renown Chilean wines, visit some of the nearby vineyards for day excursions. Early in the morning, we go ashore on Magdalena Island, the home of an immense colony of more than 120,000 Magellanic Penguins that we can watch during our walk to a lighthouse, which guides ships on their way through the Strait of Magellan. The island’s penguins migrate in April; as a replacement we visit Marta Island, to observe a sea lion colony. Santiago After being met by your guide and private vehicle at your accommodation, you'll be brought towards Vitacura neighborhood to visit Alonso de Cordova Avenue boutiques, an elegant neighborhood where you will be able to visit the best shops in town and where you'll find “ Lapiz Lazuli “(semi-precious stone found only in Chile and some places in Afghanistan) jewellery shop. Continue on to Parque Arauco Shopping Centre, the largest shopping mall in the country. After getting your fill of shopping, relax on the drive to "Handicraft Los Dominicos town " where you'll find a plethora of traditional Chilean handicraft.
