This full day tour transports you from present day to the time of the Pharaohs. In the morning, a private vehicle, driver and trained Egyptologist will pick you up and take you for some exploration of two of Egypt's most famous monuments, the great Pyramids of Giza, and the mighty Sphinx. Later in the afternoon, enjoy viewing fragments of this regions rich history at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, where your trained Egyptologist will help you further understand how ancient Egyptians lived, and how their way of life has influenced how we live our lives today! Learn more about Egypt’s modern history today with a private guided tour of Tahrir Square; the largest square in Modern Cairo. Adjacent to some of the major attractions including the Egyptian Museum, as well as other important institutions. The square was originally called Midan Ismailia Square, after the 19th-century ruler Khedive Ismail, who commissioned the new downtown district's 'Paris on the Nile' design. After the Egyptian Revolution of 1919 the square became widely known as Tahrir (Liberation) Square. Traditionally, it is the site for numerous major protests and demonstrations over the years, including the 1977 Egyptian Bread Riots, the March 2003 protest against the War in Iraq and the focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution against former president Hosni Mubarak in Cairo. Your expert local guide will share stories with you about the people and what Cairo was like during their recent uprising.

Begin the day with a tour of one of the most ancient ruins in Cairo, to explore the remains of the Fortress of Babylon. First built by the Persians around the 6th century BC, these ruins are indeed Cairo’s oldest original structure. Within the confines you will find the Church of St. Sergius, where the Holy Family is reported to have stayed, and the Hanging Church, the seat of the Coptic patriarchate for centuries. Visit the Church of Saint Barbara, a charming monument commemorating a 4th century local saint. End the day with a visit to the Coptic Museum.

Early in the morning, your private vehicle will travel to St Catherine via a tunnel system underneath the Suez Canal, west of the Red Sea, following the route of the Biblical Exodus.  The drive through the Sinai Peninsula and the biblical land of Goshen takes approximately 7 hours, en route you will learn about the history of this special region.  On the way, enjoy a stop at the Marah desert springs (Springs of Moses) along the shoreline of the Red Sea.   Continue onward to the Wilderness of Sin, and then further south to visit Wadi Ferrain, "Rephidim" the desert valley where the Israelites fought the Amalekities.  Then it is off to Mount Serbal, the before continuing towards Mt Sinai & Wadi Al Raha, the site where the Israelites forged the famous Golden Calf.

Early in the morning you will climb up the famous Mount Sinai, which the option of riding a camel for a portion of the climb.  Enjoy the panoramic views of the Sinai wilderness as you ascend the 750 step summit.  Enjoy a hardy breakfast after you’ve made your descent down the mountain.  After, you will tour the St. Catherine’s Monastery, believed to be built on the plateau where Moses encountered the burning bush.  You will leave Mount Sinai and travel towards Nuweba, where a stop for lunch is planned which boasts views of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Northern Israel.  After you arrive at Taba, you will cross the border to Israel.

This tour combines the earth’s lowest point, the Dead Sea, with one of the most famous sites in Jewish history, Masada. In the early morning hours, enjoy a sunrise climb up snake trail, or enjoy the same panoramic experience aboard a mountain cable car. Perched high atop a cliff overlooking the Dead Sea is the ruins of the well-appointed fortress of Masada, which was built by King Herod, and was used as a refuge for a Jewish faction resisting Roman rule. Next, visit Qumran, best known as the hiding place of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were found inside the caves located on the sheer desert cliffs. Finish this tour at a Dead Sea spa, with a float in the famous and buoyant Dead Sea, renowned for its mineral content and rich black mud.

This tour begins with visits to the Western Wall, followed by a visit to the famed Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock. Next, make a stop at Al Aksa Mosque before continuing on, walking through the meandering streets towards the reconstructed Cardo, a shopping arcade which once existed during ancient times. Follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, for a short photo stop. Enjoy some shopping at the most atmospheric market of the Old city, offering variety handicrafts, clothes, foods, spices and local delicacies. End the tour at David’s Citadel and Museum, located near the Jaffa Gate.

This tour visits the many highlights and monuments in two very important Israeli cities, Jerusalem and Bethlehem.  Visit the Israel Museum with its renowned Shrine of the Book monument containing pieces of the Dead Sea Scrolls and a cityscape model of ancient Jerusalem. Pass by the Knesset building, home of the Israeli Parliament before touring Yad Vashem, a memorial built to commemorate victims of the Holocaust. In the afternoon carry on to Bethlehem and visit sites such as the Milk Grotto and the birthplace of Christianity, the Church or the Nativity.

Enjoy this tour, taking in all the stunning scenery and ancient religious sites around the Sea of Galilee. Visit ancient churches and towns such as Capernaum, the one-time home of Jesus, the ruins of the ancient synagogue, and the still standing Church of St. Josef, before arriving at Yardenit, the site where the lake empties into the Jordan River.
