Uganda is most famous for its mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, an eight hour drive from the capitol Kampala. International flights arrive in the nearby city of Entebbe. Uganda has other attractions including; Murchison Falls, the otherworldly high altitude Ruwenzori Mountains, and whitewater rafting on the Blue Nile as it exits Lake Victoria. The Sesse Islands in Lake Victoria can be reached by boat and are a popular hangout for the budget crowd.
