Careers - Senior ASP.NET (Front-End) Web Developer

The projects we need your help on involve building new tools for our organization, our customers and agents and to connect with our business partners.  You will have direct access to these various users.  These enterprise level applications will have to support up to $500 million in transactions this year and will need to scale by another factor of ten in the coming years.

You will work as part of a development team on multidimensional projects and participate in the development of solutions to meet the company’s needs.  The scope of this particular role will include all phases of development for projects, implementation, testing and maintenance, adhering to defined coding standards and best practices. This position will include working with various stakeholders to deliver solutions in a timely manner.

With your 5+ years of experience as a developer, using ASP.NET and C# in a .NET environment, you can demonstrate the following competencies:

Strong technical programming skills

• Delivers excellent solutions, balancing scope, time and quality to find the best outcome
• Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle 
• Able to manage own time with multiple concurrent projects
• Strong front-end experience in building customer facing web applications
• Experience with web services and databases
• Experience working in agile environment
• Can write clean front-end code instead of drag & dropping asp.net controls
• Proficiency working with all browsers/compatibility; understands and adheres to code standards
• Pays attention to generated markup and considers performance during every phase of development
• Proficient with AJAX based interfaces using JS/jQuery/Services
• Experience working with MVC preferably with Razor engine
• Ability to use a source control software like GitHub, TFS etc.
