    Madagascar Surprises

    15 Feb 2013 / Africa Destination Expert
I'll be the first to admit that I'm in a serious and committed relationship with Africa. I've traveled to over 11 countries and been on more than a 100 game-drives in various parks. The affair is exciting, terrifying, inspiring and unwavering. The best part? No matter how comfortable or familiar I become, there's always more opportunities to learn, discover and be swept off my feet time and time again.

Seeking Adventure: Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, Facing Mountain Gorillas and Tracking Game

    21 Nov 2012 / Africa Destination Expert

From seeking out the Big 5 on over 60 game-drives to diving with sharks in South Africa and climbing the dunes in Namibia to sleeping under the stars in 5-star luxury tented camps. I’ve had other equally amazing experiences but my bucket list still remains boundless.

    04 Apr 2012 / Compass Editor
Kensington Cares is currently funding the construction of a kindergarten in Trans Mara District (just outside Masai Mara National Reserve) to replace the much too small and crumbling room that once served as a not such a welcoming or effective learning environment.  The local building crew is working on plastering up the inside and outside of the building and other final touches.
