Luxury Voluntourism at Tree Of Life Resort And Spa
The Tree of Life Resort & Spa in Jaipur, India is offering a gracious and unique opportunity whereby if you volunteer to teach or help renovate the local school, you will get a credit towards your accommodation or receive a spa treatment.
The Balika Foundation (‘Balika’ means a young girl child) is the personal initiative of Himmat Anand, Founder of the Tree of Life Resort & Spa. It was while building the Resort in 2007 that he came across some labourers from this village who could not afford to send their daughters to school. He then decided to take it onto himself to ensure that these young girls be financially supported by the Resort in completing their education through school and college. The Resort will be glad to arrange a visit for you to meet with the children at the school next door or ‘Teach a While’.
