1/2 d Shimba Hills National Reserve (4 hrs)

Your tour today starts with pick up from the port by a private driver and guide. Set high in the hills above the southern part of the coast of Mombasa, Shimba Hills is a small park and reserve, best known for the herds of the rare sable antelope which graze in the rolling hills. Elephants which live in the pockets of this rain forest, as well as giraffe, zebras and ostrich may be seen. There are also a variety of birds, butterflies that can be seen. The air at this elevation is cool and one can have a panoramic view of the coastline from one of the viewpoints in the reserve. Tour ends with a return to port.
