Explore Tangier (8 hrs)

Tangier has always fascinated artists such as Tennessee Williams, Eugène Delacroix, Henri Matisse, Paul Bowles, Jean Genet. All have fallen for the charm of Petit Socco Square and its cafés... Departing the port with a private driver and guide, you'll visit to the Tangier American Legation Museum which is the only historic landmark of the United States outside of the USA. The tour of the medina will also include a visit to the fortified Kasbah, one of the city’s main attractions. The Kasbah is built on the highest point of the city and has excellent views out over the Straits of Gibraltar and neighbouring Spain. Within its gates lies a large marble courtyard that leads to the Dar el-Makhzen, a former Sultan’s palace built in the 17th century, which today houses the Museum of Moroccan Art. Continue and stop at Spartel cape, see the lighthouse that marks the convergence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterrenean sea. Continue to visit Hercules Caves (continually inhabited since the Neolithic period), and the market with its colourfull narrow streets. Return to port.
