Malindi & Gedi Tour (with Lunch, 8 hrs)

This morning, your private driver and guide will pick you up at the port and take you for a drive through sisal plantation of Vipingo, to the Gedi ruins, which is an ancient Islamic palace. Here you will have a guided tour of the ruins and the museum. A visit to Giryama village to sample the Mijikenda culture and dance, before proceeding to the Malindi Marine Park. Take a glass bottomed boat to the marine park, where snorkeling equipment will be provided for you to experience the beautiful marine and coral life beneath the water's surface. A buffet lunch will be served at the Scorpio villa restaurant, after which you will proceed to the Vasco da Gama pillar, built in 1498 by explorer Vasco da Gama, it stands as a sign of appreciation for the welcome he received by the Sultan of Malindi. You will then go to Malindi town for a tour and shopping, before returning to port in the late afternoon.
