The Antarctic Dream is a Dutch built ice-reinforced vessel, that was completely refurbished in July 2005. With 78 passengers capacity, the ship features double/single occupancy (Low Bedded Cabins) and beautiful outside staterooms with windows, private bathrooms and TV, allowing guests to best absorb this unforgettable experience. Some of the facilities that they offer to their guests are two passenger observation decks (bow and stern), conference and projection room, a passenger open bridge, lounges, sauna, small fitness room, Satellite email, library, dining room with panoramic view and First Aid Clinic with licensed doctor. Cabins all have private baths, queen or twin beds, closed circuit TV, and inter-cabin phone service. Shackleton Deck: 17 Superior Staterooms, each of 98 sq. feet approx. The stateroom has ensuite shower and 1 window. 7 Staterooms feature a Queen bed, 10 Staterooms feature Twin beds.
Cape Horn Deck: 2 Suite Staterooms of 159 sq. feet approx. Feature half tub and 7 windows.
Amundsen Deck: 19 Staterooms, each of 94 sq. feet approx. The staterooms have ensuite shower, and 1 porthole. 11 feature Queen beds, while 8 staterooms feature Twin beds.
The dining room with its large windows looking out on the scenery can seat all passengers in one sitting (and it serves as a comfortable lounge between mealtimes). Breakfast and lunches are with a wide assortment of dishes. Dinner is more formal with full multicourse service by our professional Chilean wait staff. The cuisine is international with an appealing mix of famed Chilean fish and shellfish along with world famous Argentine meats. And naturally both lunch and dinner are accompanied by complimentary Chilean wines.
Zodiac landings to get an up-close look at this beautiful continent, as well as on board lectures offered by geologists, historians, naturalists, and expedition leaders. In the free time between landings, lectures and dinning, passengers can browse their small library, work out in their fitness room or hang out in their cozy pub.
