Today is a full day spent relaxingly at sea, as you sail onwards toward your first port-of-call, Falmouth. If you're feeling lucky, make your way to the onboard casino, where there is always plenty of action.
Falmouth is the chief town and capital of the parish of Trelawny in Jamaica. A port town, it is situated on Jamaica's north coast 18 miles east of Montego Bay. It is noted for being one of the Caribbean’s best-preserved Georgian towns. The town was meticulously planned from the start, with wide streets in a regular grid, adequate water supply, and public buildings. It even had piped water before New York City. Falmouth has a number of interesting historic buildings in the Jamaican Georgian architectural style, with the Falmouth Heritage Renewal organization taking interest in their preservation.
George Town is the heart of the Cayman Islands financial industry, with over 600 banks located there. It also has cruise ship facilities, a cargo dock, a Hard Rock Cafe, and several shopping plazas. George Town, as well as the rest of Grand Cayman, is served by nearby Owen Roberts International Airport.
Cozumel is an island and seaport in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. The Maya are believed to have first settled Cozumel by the early part of the 1st millennium AD. Nowadays, Cozumel is a tourist destination for its balnearios, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Other water activities include para-sailing, kitesurfing, and a tourist submarine. There are also two dolphinariums.
Today is a day spent entirely sea, sailing onward to Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. Join some of your cruise friends in the lounge, or relax in the onboard spa. The day is yours.
Great Stirrup Cay is a small, private island that is part of the Berry Islands in the Bahamas. The northern part of the island has a sandy beach surrounded by rocks and snorkeling areas, while the southern part features various remnants of a previous U.S. military installation.
This morning you'll arrive back to Miami, where you will disembark from your ship and bid farewell to your fellow cruisemates.
