Meet on your private first class vehicle, together with your local authorised guide. We start with a short drive to the Little Mermaid statue, the main character of the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. Here there is time for a photo stop before continuing on to the impressive Gefion Fountain and the harbor fortification known as Kastellet; Copenhagen’s defense citadel from 1663. Continuing on the Tour reaches the City Hall Square, where the famous pedestrian street "Stroget" begins. We pass Tivoli Gardens, dating back to 1843 and onwards past the New Carlsberg Glyptotheque and the National Museum. Next are the Old Stock Exchange and the Naval Church. Kings New Square is the home of the Royal Danish Theatre with the world famous ballet. We drive through the old canal district Nyhavn, with its picturesque houses, vessels, local cafes and restaurants; you may want to spend a short time here before your photo stop at the Royal residence Amalienborg Palace, where it may be possible to see the changing of the Royal Guards. Afterwards, a visit to Rosenborg Castle is included (entrance included), the fantastic fairy tale summer residence that Christian IV built from 1603-1634 which today houses the famous Crown Jewels. Before ending the Tour you will view the Copenhagen Cathedral, Copenhagen University, the Round Tower and the Church Of Holy Trinity before the return trip back to port.
