Aboard a private taxiboat with private assistant, head to the island of Murano, a gem of the Venetian Lagoon, famous for glass blowing heritage dating back to 1291. Observe masters of the craft demonstrate the making of glass works before gliding around the island of St. Elena for a wonderful view of St. Mark’s Square and the Grand Canal. Visit San Giorgio Maggiore, a remarkable church dating back to the 16th century. Within the church are the renowned works “The Last Supper” and “The Gathering of Manna”, by Tintoretto. Afterward, board a gondola, four people people per private vessel, and traverse small picturesque canals, crossing under stone bridges. The ride is non-narrated, but visual enough to constantly hold your attention. Return to port afterward.
