Highlights:
Mediterranean
Your private driver will meet you at the pier and you will travel to the town of Nora, the oldest town in all of Sardinia, founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th Century. Here you will meet your private local guide. Nora is interesting both for its architecture and its geological layout. The ancient city, also known as "The Sunken City," slopes down to the sea. Admire the two Roman temples, four thermal buildings, many gorgeous mosaics and even a small Roman theatre. You'll explore the archaeological area with its Roman ruins, built on a pre-existing Punic settlement. If desired, you may also have your guide incorporate a visit to the small museum Pula (five minutes drive from Nora, admission extra). Return to port.
