Zadar is a Croatian city located between Rijeka and Split, not far away from Sibenik. A town that's a few thousand years old, it was the capital of Dalmatia for many centuries. The Zadar peninsula still preserves very old network of narrow and charming city streets, as well as a Roman forum dating back to the first century AD. The pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donat dates back to the ninth century, and it is certainly Zadar's most famous spot.
The Port of Dubrovnik is a mainstay on Eastern Mediterranean cruise itineraries. Relaxed, historic and picturesque, Dubrovnik is a great city to explore by foot and sees over 600,000 cruise passengers each year. This medieval walled city boasts some exciting and ancient attractions, such as the Stradrun, a marble-paved pedestrian stretch of the old city, the Franciscan Monastery, Onofrio's Fountain, Sponza Palace and the Dominican Monastery. Cruise ships dock at Gruz Harbour in a suburb of Dubrovnik, while smaller ships are usually permitted to dock in the Old Harbour, which is located in the heart of the old city.
Kotor is a coastal city in Montenegro, located in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by an impressive city wall built by the Republic of Venice and Venetian influence remains predominant in the city's architecture. Together with the nearly overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Lovcen, Kotor and its surrounding area form an impressive and picturesque Mediterranean landscape.
The town of Otranto is located in a fertile region in Puglia, once famous for its breed of horses. It is located on the east coast of the Salento peninsula and has a pretty harbour, pedestrianised streets and fortress.
Katakolo (or Katakolon) is a seaside town and port in western Ilia, Greece. The town centre is on a headland overlooking the Ionian Sea and separating the Kyparissian Gulf from the rest of the Ionian. The port is a frequent stop for cruise ships on tours of the Ionian and Mediterranean seas, offering an opportunity for passengers to visit the site of Ancient Olympia.
Nafplio is a seaport town in the Peloponnese in Greece, on the hillsides near the north end of the Argolic Gulf. The town was the first capital of modern Greece, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. The Acronauplia (old town) has walls dating back to before the 13th century.
This morning you'll disembark from your ship and bid farewell to your fellow cruisemates.
A sleek silhouette, a welcoming intimate atmosphere, discover aboard this new ship the philosophy that has made its sister ships a success: the spirit of Yacht Cruises. Sailing under the French flag, this magnificent yacht of only 132 staterooms and Suites, with balconies, joined the fleet in June 2013. You will be enchanted by the contemporary decor inspired by the luxury yachting world, with fluid lines and a modern colour scheme combining natural wood with shades of grey and white. A refined ambiance is enhanced by the quality of the workmanship and materials: white Corian counters in the lobby contrast with the warmth of leather to recall a boat’s hull, while the central sculpture of enamelled pieces takes its inspiration from the sea. In the loungebar, the carpet picks up a tennis stripe theme symbolising a certain idea of cruising, one synonymous with French elegance and a chic seaside spirit.
