The Comoros are an island nation off the coast of East Africa, in the Indian Ocean between northern Mozambique and northern Madagascar. Islands include Anjouan (Nzwani), Grand Comore (Ngazidja), Moheli (Mwali). The island of Mayotte is claimed by the Comoros, but is administered by France. Moroni is the country's capital.
