Okuti

Okuti lies along the Maunachira River, which flows through the Moremi Game Reserve’s Xakanaxa Lagoon, in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Okuti provides excellent game viewing on both land and water, due to its widely varied and protected habitats. Offering a welcome touch of comfort camp facilities include an open boma along the water’s edge for evenings around the fireplace and a plunge pool for refreshing afternoons. Okuti is accessible by air or road.

There are five twin bedded units and two family units. Unique structures made of reeds, covered by an outer layer of canvas and set on raised platforms, the units are all en-suite with inside and outside showers and flush WC.

      Okuti Activities

      Activities from Okuti include morning and afternoon game drives, motorized boat excursions exploring the waterways and it is a birder’s paradise, especially for those in search of herons and storks in the breeding season found at Gadikwe Heronry. Moremi Reserve regulations do not permit night driving and off road driving.
