On the slopes of the Chyulu Hills National Park, with sweeping views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Ol Donyo Lodge is located in one of the most spectacular and scenic locations in all of East Africa. Situated between Amboseli and Tsavo West in Southeast Kenya, the 275 000 acre Mbirikani Group Ranch offers the Amboseli National Park experience – minus the crowds - in utter privacy. In the path of traditional wildlife migration routes, it is a lodge rich in history, passion and conservation. The 20-bed lodge, inclusive of the four bed private bush home, was rebuilt and redesigned in 2008. Every view looks out across the vast savannah and onward to Mount. Kilimanjaro. No two suites or villas are the same, but what is consistent is the attention to detail, the comfortable yet utterly luxurious décor, and the tradition of greatness. Regarded as one of the most attractive lodges in East Africa, Ol Donyo Wuas is a place to call home for as long as possible.
Standard suites each have one large bedroom with a private en suite bathroom, an indoor and outdoor shower and private "star-bed"/sundowner viewing deck. Family suites consist of two suites, linked by a central outdoor foyer. The two suites are designed for independent couples, friends, or family who are travelling together and want to share the same villa, but can enjoy entirely separate suites. This provides the option of complete privacy or socialising. Each of the family suites has a private bedroom with a private pool, en suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, and a “star-bed”/sundowner viewing deck.
