Just like the local wildlife, you’ll head out bright and early this morning, alongside an experienced tracker-guide for the day’s first game drive. The eco-diversity and sheer size of the Masai Mara Game Reserve provides the necessary requirements to house a wide range of animal species. The most recognized are known worldwide as the African Big 5, which includes the African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Leopard, and the King of the beasts, the Lion. The term Big 5 was coined by big-game hunters, as these species were the most difficult and dangerous to track and hunt. Subsequently, the term was adopted by the tourism industry for marketing purposes, spinning a web of positivity opposed to the negative effect portrayed by the original terminology. Numerous other species of bird and wildlife inhabit this dynamic location including Hyenas, Gazelles, Impalas, Giraffes, Zebras, Vultures, Cranes, Eagles, Falcons, and Ostriches.
On today’s afternoon game drive, the choice is up to you: search for the Big 5 or expand your horizons to discover something different. Going with Kensington Tours was a great decision. The transfers between resorts was handled very professionally and extremely smooth. I will plan my next trip to South Africa with Kensington. Money well spent!
I cannot stress enough how perfectly everybody and everything came together to provide us with a world class vacation!! Start to finish, so much more than we expected or anticipated!! We will definitely be contacting again to book another trip!
The Elewana was wonderful - awesome staff & guides, gorgeous setting! All flights and drives were on time & we had no problems at all.
Our Africa trip was epic! The real test of such an eight country adventure is the logistics at transfer points. FLAWLESS. Thank you to Andrew Drummond and Kensington for guiding us.
Great service from the planning to the selection of options. Roudayna Hanna helped us to design one of the best trips of our life. The tour guides, Tracy in Cape Town and Mathias in Namibia, were excellent and customer-oriented.
Special thanks to Augustine, our guide. He was beyond our expectations. I recommend that Kensington provides guides with a balloon ride over the Serengeti as a bonus. Thank you to everyone involved in my safari trip; I felt safe and well cared for and will recommend KT to all my friends and family.
Excellent / easy family trip on very short notice. The team was awesome.
Our guide and driver made this a fantastic trip. We highly recommend them.
Riad Salam! I cannot say enough good things about our accommodation in Fes! We loved our room with its stunning Moroccan tile work and brass chandeliers and we marveled at the gorgeous interior courtyard while enjoying breakfast each morning and relaxing by the pool each evening. Our guide in Fes, Omar, was magnificent. He knew everyone and negotiated zealously for us with each vendor. Our cooking class at Maison Bleu with Chef Zohar was very fun! We loved following Zohor around the souks, collecting ingredients and she was an excellent teacher in the kitchen. In Marrakech, we had the best time at Kasbah du Toubkal. Our guide was incredibly patient and let us lounge in the mountain sun and air for hours!
Charlie, our guide, was absolutely the best! We had my wife's mom (74) and dad (75) along, and he helped them thru the rain forest and every obstacle that we encountered. Barry, our guide in the rain forest, spotted so many lemurs and chameleons, and he also helped Charlie with mom and dad. Both were a wealth of information about the animals and the island. We all really enjoyed Lemur Island, where the lemurs would hop on your shoulders. I was amazed how poor the people of Madagascar were, and how poor the roads were; but Charlie navigated thru Tana and the road to the rain forest like a pro. The hotel and lodge we stayed at were first rate, and the service from the staff was excellent! Thanks to all connected to Kensington Tours for putting together such a wonderful trip!
