Kisindi Lodge & Spa is situated in the lush green Western Kenyan country side, on the shores of Lake Victoria. The Lodge offers all the ingredients of a restful stay. The location, the Spa, the service level and the lodge’s renowned gourmet meals make it ideal to relax, unwind and get away from it all. The comforts of adobe architecture Kisindi Lodge & Spa currently provides accommodation for 10 to 15 guests at a time which means the staff have all the time to tailor make your stay. A restaurant, swimming pool and spa treatments are available on location for the guest’s convenience.
Guests are accommodated in traditional grass thatched cottages. Each cottage has its own bathroom with piped hot and cold water, generous showers, a verandah which overlooks the lake and allows guests to see the fishermen prepare to set sail in the morning. Each room is fitted with a double bed and a day bed which can easily be converted in a 7 ft long bed. Kisindi Lodge & Spa is a sanctuary of tranquillity. The rooms are therefore not equipped with television too.
The restaurant at Kisindi Lodge & Spa serves three course, non-buffet, gourmet lunches and dinners and consists of a fully stocked bar. The ambiance is perfect to watch the sunset over the lake and the Suba Mountains. The lodge is known to go the extra mile and provide impeccable service.
During your stay at Kisindi Lodge & Spa, guest can enjoy leisure walks through the surrounding farm lands which can be combined with a cultural visit to a neighboring fishing village. For the more adventurous guests a three hour hike through the Homa Hills will sound appealing, sun downer cruises and our wealth of spa treatments will assure guests leave rested and recuperated. Kisindi Lodge & Spa offers a swimming pool which provides an ideal spot for sun downers.
