Shella Royal House is idyllically located in Shella, a two minute walk from the pier. Both houses have breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the beach below. If arriving by air guests will land on Manda Island which is a 10 minute boat ride to Shella. Since the house has the best location overlooking the Manda channel with easy access to the endless 12 km white sandy beaches, guests can take long walks, or just take a book on the beach and sunbathe. The Shella Royal House has two houses each consisting of six en-suite bedrooms with three penthouses and provides well trained staff including a permanent gourmet chef onsite.

The Shella Royal House has a well trained staff including a permanent gourmet cook who specializes in Swahili food and a wide variety of seafood dishes including lobster, crab, prawns and many different sea dishes. Vegetarians are also catered for. At any time guests can choose to dine on the rooftop open air extension with Shella’s best views and with the local sounds from the village all around.
The Shella Royal House has its own excursion dhow and a modern fishing boat which is manned by a captain and his crew. The modern fishing boat is ideal for deep sea fishing and guests can fish and then cook their catch on the deck served with a glass of wine from the bar.
