The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy was formed in 1995 and is located in northern Kenya. The Conservancy is home to a wide array of wildlife including the rare and endangered black rhino, Grevy’s zebras and the Big Five. Lewa was originally a cattle ranch prior to becoming a guarded black rhino sanctuary. The area is now headquarters for a non-profit wildlife Conservancy, which has built a strong reputation for extending the benefits of conservation beyond its borders.
