The Alex Walkers Serian Camp boasts seven privately situated tented accommodation in close proximity to the Mara River. This Eco-friendly tented bush camp is the Serian Mara Predator research base camp. Guests can enjoy dining around the indoor fireplace or on the mess-deck to admire the expansive views of the Mara River.
Alex's Walkers Serian Camp operation has more to offer than its competitors. There is fly camping, walking, driving and culture excursions. After making his name in the Massai Mara, Alex has been running camps and guiding in Africa for a very long time and his expertise and knowledge he passes onto his staff and guides to ensure a top quality, adventurous safari experience.
Seven private marquees each decorated in uniquely their own way and furnished with large double beds, flanked by bedside tables and writing desks. The adjoining "bush bathrooms" include a shower, twin basins, large bush bathtub and flush toilet. Hanging swathes of cotton and canvas walls provide complete privacy.
The Mess deck and indoor fireplace leave one with the impression of having found a home away from home. Enjoy the expansive view of the Mara River and the Oloololo escarpment, the deck area plays host to a great deal of wining & dining.
