We are delighted to support the expansion of the Masai Mara eco-system by becoming a founding tourist partner in the newly established Naboisho Conservancy. This latest addition to the Kicheche portfolio of camps in Kenya launched in July 2011, offering guests a new location from which to view some of the world's most stunning wildlife and dramatic scenery. The camp consists of only six tented safari suites, ensuring a personal touch, and is run by experienced hosts along with staff and guides that have all trained and worked in our other properties. Staying with us in Naboisho opens up a whole new spectacular area of the Mara to explore.
Within Naboisho (50,000 acre) Conservancy, the camp is set on the Eastern side in a beautiful secluded valley dotted with Acacia trees. The tents lie amongst the trees and rocky outcrops and enjoy wonderful views of the game filled plains to the south. The location is close to both the Enniskeria river region, with it's stunning granite outcrops and permanent pools popular with the resident wildlife, and the vast plains to the north hosting large numbers of plains game and containing a vital elephant corridor to the North. The valleys to the west provide a scenic backdrop whilst game driving and are ideal for game walks
The camp is an intimate luxury bush camp, completely unfenced, accommodating 12 guests, all under canvas. Each tent is spacious, fully insect-proof and equipped with large beds, bedside tables, luggage racks, lounge chair, desk and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, shower, flushing toilet and running water. Triple bed configuration is available on request.

The cooks at this property produce delicious and healthy meals, and the menu features both African and international dishes. Fresh produce is flown in regularly and bread and pastries are baked daily. The mess tent is available for inclement weather, but prefer to take meals al-fresco whenever possible. Guest may sit at the communal table with their hosts, or are welcome to dine alone.
Game driving is available throughout the area and your program is arranged daily with your guide. Trips to the local Maasai villages are on offer for those interested in Kenya's unique culture. It is possible to visit Aitong town (market day Thursday) or the local nursery school supported by their Community Project. There are a number of escorted nature walks available from the camp. All walks are escorted by a Kicheche guide with a radio, and an armed ranger. Walks are included in the package.
