Kichwa Tembo sits at the toes of the Oloololo Escarpment, right at the western border of the Masai Mara Reserve in southwestern Kenya. Renowned as Kenya’s best loved safari lodge, Kichwa Tembo nestles below the Oloololo Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, affording spectacular views of the Masai Mara’s game filled plains. The camp comprises of 40 Hemingway style tents in total, 28 of which are Classic safari tents and 12 of which are luxury tents.
All are accompanied by en-suite bathrooms and private verandas. The camp itself provides comfortable guest areas, a large swimming pool.Kichwa Tembo’s spacious canvas safari tents offer magical views over the Masai Mara grasslands or the Sabaringo River. The main thatched guest areas include a welcoming bar/sitting area, indoor and outdoor dining areas and a well stocked gift shop featuring African art, artifacts and safari wear.
