Our luxury ensuite rooms are accommodated in two single-storey dedicated buildings, which lie to the right and left of the main reception and dining areas. Each tastefully-appointed room features a Maasai-inspired, hand-painted, wall fresco, king-sized bed or luxurious twins, lavish all-encompassing mosquito-curtaining, bathroom (with walk-in shower), writing/vanity unit, and private veranda. The Serena Beach Hotel offers a number of dining experiences, and a selection of bars, coffee shops and café areas, both inside and out. Choose from; the central Fountain Restaurant, the charming Jahazi Grill seafood restaurant, the central Sokoni Terrace brasserie and a wide choice of inside and outside bars. We offer a 24-hour room service, which features an extensive menu offering everything from the classic club sandwich to a delicately-spiced curry. We are also delighted to serve a private lunch or dinner in your room or suite; or to provide cocktails and canapés on your private terrace. In the cool of the morning, as the tide laps the beach, what could be more delightful than to stroll through the gardens to your own private table for two. Here your dedicated steward will serve you with fresh orange juice and sparkling wine, followed by your choice from our full English or American breakfast.

Serena active includes extensive water sports to include: windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, catamaran sailing, introductory scuba diving lessons and snorkelling, glass-bottom-boat rides to the coral gardens of the reef, deep-sea fishing for marlin, tuna, wahoo and more, deep-sea diving and International Dive Certification, floodlit tennis courts and air-conditioned squash courts, shuffle board and crazy golf, aerobics workouts and Aqua Aerobics, a fully equipped gymnasium with instructor, beach walks and nature trails with our resident naturalist, jogging trails around the nearby Bamburi Nature Trail, swimming in the pool or in the sea, volleyball, table tennis, darts and pool, and the facilities of a nearby golf course. The activities on offer at Serena Beach Hotel & Spa include Swahili banquets under the stars, tropical cocktails by the pool, beneath the palms or on the terraces of the Piano Bar, visits to the nearby Ngomongo Cultural village or the Bamburi Nature Trail.
