The 1937 Suites were built in 1937. The historic and stunning 8 suites, with an amazing Courtyard views featuring a lovely patio are a favorite. • Karura Suites

The Karura Suites are only two of a kind suite that are located in the historic Karura wing and aptly named after Sarah and Abraham Block who are part of the founders of our 105 year old hotel. With a breathtaking elevated view of the Courtyard, the two suites boast of very large terraces. With a separate sitting lounge from the bedroom the suite offers High Speed internet access, in room digital safe and a 32” flat screen television for comfort. The 2008 renovated suites have a plush unmistakable finish, queen size beds and spacious 4-piece bathroom.

• Signature Suites

Theses 9 lavish Signature Suites are very spacious, luxuriously furnished accommodations with plush carpeting and deep velour upholstered furniture. They offer a king size bed, High Speed internet access, an in-room safe and trouser press, a large en-suite bathroom with a separate shower, a separate sitting room and a separate changing room. Each individual suite carries with it a characteristic Kenyan historic significance, each themed from influential makers in colonial Kenya.

• The Dining Room

There are six restaurants in the hotel, one to suit every mood and palate. The Tea Room offers traditional high-tea in a comfortable setting. The relaxed setting of the Cin Cin Wine Bar is the perfect spot to unwind, while the Lord Delamere Terrace is the ideal spot for people watching. The extensive room service menu is always an option when a more private setting is preferred.The Poolside Restaurant is also the perfect setting for intimate, leisurely lunches. Light refreshments and drinks are served throughout the day, besides an a la Carte lunch.

• The Swimming Pool

The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi offers extensive recreation facilities. The outdoor heated pool is surrounded by lush gardens. Separate facilities for men and women include changing rooms with showers, steam bath, sauna, restrooms and treatment rooms. Towels are provided here, along with mattresses for the sun beds. The Health & Fitness Centre is located above the poolside restaurant. Trained professional staff is located within the facility. Services include aerobics classes, one-on-one training and registered massages.
