The Nairobi Safari Club is Kenya’s only all suite Hotel. The Hotel was established in 1984 as an exclusive Members Only Club. In 2001 it was repositioned to a fully fledged five star hotel opening its doors to the public. This year the hotel celebrates 24 years of continuous excellent service. From the very beginning, the hotel's main goal has been to provide the best possible service to guests, almost to the point of obsession. An all suite hotel, there are a number of approaches to this 146 room hotel. The Presidential suite is a very spacious lounge and bedroom. The lounge has comfortable sofa sets and is ideal for meetings and private ensuite dining. Room includes satellite TV with GTV, and over ten viewing channels, three direct dial telephones, and direct email and fax connectivity on request. Also included is a Personal digital code safe, automatic hairdryer, dining table, and a complimentary bar with assorted drinks on arrival, leisure seating and writing desk at the lounge and bedroom. A large fruit basket and flowers are provided as well as daily local newspapers. A jacuzzi-type bathroom with a choice of a seperate shower is available. The Panorama Suites offer a bedroom with dressing table and ensuite bathroom connecting into a spacious lounge. Each suite has three telephones and direct telephone dial facility to any destination.
The Safari Restaurant is an elegant dining venue located on the Ground floor. It serves healthy cuisine with a French & International touch as well as the added plus of local cultural tastes. It offers exciting dining in a unique ambiance. The Safari Restaurant also serves Safari Burgers, which include cheeseburgers, American burgers made in a unique take on Western styles, chicken burgers, and veggie burgers with spicy sauce. The hotel prides itself on some of its classic specialties, which include Noisette of Goat, Gratinated with Cheese. Served with Mushroom Essence sauce, fresh vegetables, and French fries, it is accompanied by apple segment croquette potatoes and market vegetables. The Baked Red Snapper “Lillian Tower” is oven baked in its juice with garlic, ginger, and served with pilau rice and vegetables. The Chicken Cordon Blue is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese, served with a light brown sauce, garden vegetables, and French fries.
Aerobics classes, swimming, steam and sauna bath are all available at the Nairobi Safari Club. Consult schedule for fees and availability. Located on the Second Floor the Health Center has a heated swimming pool, sauna, steam Bath, massage parlor and a gymnasium. This facility is free for residents of the hotel. A fitness instructor and personal training are also available. The Business Centre is Located on the Ground Floor and equipped with personal computers, colour printer, photocopier & fax, and 24hr internet access. The Gift Shop caters to those requiring personal amenities such as toiletries & cosmetics, candy, postcards, photographic films, safari bags & attire, swim wear, as well as a wide variety of African traditional carvings, recycled metal products, books, magazines, daily newspapers and numerous unique souvenirs to suit every taste.
