Flamingo Hill Camp is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. Approximately 30 minutes by air or 2 hours by road from Nairobi. Nestled between the “honeymoon hills” and set in beautifully landscaped grounds with natural foliage and a variety of indigenous African plants and flowers, Flamingo Hill Camp provides superb, tented accommodation. It is an eco-friendly establishment. Part of the money earned from the camp is used for environmental restoration and endangered species. Cosy, warm and inviting with a personal touch, Flamingo Hill Camp offers the traveler a home away from home!
Small and exclusive, comprising 25 tents. The tents are furnished with the understated luxury required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron and crisp cottons each tent has been meticulously planned to maximise comfort.
Flamingo Hill Camp consists of 25 tents and all are furnished in a luxury way.In every tent a four poster bed & mosquito nets are provided. They also feature an en-suite with shower, WC and flush toilets,hot and cold running water and electricity at 240 volts. You will be also able to find a writing desk. They highlight of every tent is the private verandah overlooking the plains.
The restaurant seats approximately 80 people comfortably and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a mix of table d’hote or buffet style. Our experienced chefs will prepare meals to tantalize taste buds! We also cater for any special dietary requests made by our guests. We pride ourselves on the food we serve our guests. Watch the spectacular display of the sun going down over the lake as you enjoy a sundowner with bitings especially prepared for guests or enjoy a pampering massage at the camp - a truly luxurious way to end your day in the bush or simply to relax further! The camp can prepare hot lunches with a wide variety of finger licking delicacies for groups of up to 50 people on a daily basis.But nothing beats the rewarding experience of a game drive within the park.
