This afternoon you'll meet up with your guide and head out into Amboseli National Park. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants. On a clear day, you'll also have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
The Sopa Lodge in Amboseli is seated near Mount Kilimanjaro, with a keen view of the mountain’s supreme heights and surrounding landscape. The 83 rooms are spacious and full of character, each constructed like private hut using local materials and fixtures. The dining room is decorated with authentic African carvings and vibrant, burning colors, with Pan African and continental cuisine served. Your guide will drive you from Amboseli to Tsavo National Park. An armored convoy will deliver you to your location for a part of this voyage. The drive will take around 2 to 3 hours.

Try spotting leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion,crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik- dik, lesser kudu, or the nocturnal Porcupine. Birders will revel in this park, with over 600 species Tsavo has prolific birdlife.
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is bound by volcanic momentum, with a full a distant view of Kilimanjaro , with a busy water hole at its side acting as a meeting place for throngs of wildlife and plains game. There are 51 standard rooms and 5 suites, each positioned with a glaring view of the world-renowned Kilimanjaro. PASSPORT/VISAA Passport valid for at least six months and visas are required for both Canadian and US citizens. Visa may be purchased on arrival at the airport. Single entry visa is $50 per person, payable in cash, new bills (no credit cards). Visas may also be obtained in advance through a visa service or through the embassy directly. Processing generally takes 5-7 working days.
