Voyager Ziwani Camp

The Voyager Ziwani tented camp is located in the Tsavo National Park, in Kenya. Seated along the feet of Mount Kilimanjaro, the 25 tents offer a splendid view of the mountain’s glory. Prepare to be struck speechless as hippos, crocodiles, and countless other species make their way past you, unassuming. Placed near a secluded dam, the 30 000 acre farm on which the camp sits allows for unrivaled privacy. Dining is in the restaurant or on the riverside, outdoors. The meals are scrumptious, with local flair and continental staples fused for tasteful concoctions. Time is spent taking advantage of animal viewings and lessons about them from highly qualified naturalists. This is an opportunity to understand Africa’s rich and complex history, as well as its wildlife inhabitants.


    You will sleep in lavish double tents with double/twin beds or in the exclusive tents with king size beds. Voyager Ziwani Camp accommodates guests in 25 comfortable double tents beside the Asante River with large double or twin beds and classic furnishings. There are modern en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. Voyager Ziwani Camp's 5 special deluxe tents boast king size beds and private wooden verandahs overlooking the river.

        Voyager Ziwani Camp activities in Kenya include escorted game walks with an experienced naturalist, night drives to view Hippo and nocturnal game, boating among Crocodile and Turtle on Ziwani Dam. Enjoy walking trails around historical Grogan's Farm, trips to the twin volcanic lakes of Chala and Jipe and tours of World War II battlefields on Slaughter Hill. Also on offer are bush breakfasts and barbecue dinners in the sanctuary. Activities include night drives, game walks, traditionl dancing, walking and horse trails, visits to Grogans Castle, boating in the Ziwa Dam, supervised childrens activities, tours of the World War II battlefields, and visits to the twin volcanic lakes (Chala Jipe)
