Relais de l’Ankarana

Relais de l’Ankarana is a basic lodge located just outside the Ankarana reserve. The six wooden rooms here are simple; three rooms have hot water and private bathroom facilities. Inside the rooms are simply furnished with double or twin beds and a small sitting area. There is a small central building which acts as a restaurant and reception and has open sides to allow in the breeze. The hotel is set overlooking vast savannas and the small restaurant offers good panoramic views.

Spacious rooms with quality bedding, a seating area and private bathroom in each room (sheets, towels and blankets are provided). Have running water at all times and a solar water heater is very significant in this small village Mahamasina. Your comfort is ensured by three windows with mosquito nets, as well as the beds. Due to the electricity supplied to 18h to 22h, you can recharge your batteries digital camera or mobile phone. The cleanliness and hygiene in all areas is the staffs constant concern.

The restaurants cuisines combines traditional Malagasy cuisine and European taste. Zebu meat, chicken with coconut, sea bream embellished with a sweet and sour sauce or shrimp lightly spiced are the freshest ingredients of the day. Specifically vegetarian dishes will be served if you wish. Meals typically Malagasy as "ravitoto" (brèdes cassava) or "romazava" (zebu broth with leafy vegetables) are simmered for those who have mentioned at the time of booking their desire to eat dishes.
