The Tsara Guest House is a quaint little hotel located in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar’s second largest city. The Tsara boasts 18 rooms in the main building, all with en-suite bathroom facilities. The property has a bar, restaurant and small garden.
Each of the guest rooms is very comfortable and functional. Rooms feature en-suite bathroom facilities and double beds. The rooms have been designed to replicate a traditional Malagasy home, featuring wooden based furnishings and bright, invigorating color schemes.
In the main area you will find a bar and restaurant were they serve traditional malagasy cuisine and western dishes.
Although the town itself is vibrant with many craftsmen working within it and tea plantations a short distance away, Tsara Guest House is often a stop for people on the route between Isalo National Park and Antananarivo, or those on the way to Ranomafana or Andringitra National Parks.

Entering the pristine rainforest, the cool air fights the warm sun for your attention; crystalline rivers meander through the loamy earth as the clear notes of birds ring out like church bells.

The mist is heavy deep in the Madagascan rainforest and sweat drips from your brow after a full-day hike. Then you see it grazing among the bamboo thickets – the rare golden bamboo lemur – and your heart leaps.
