Hotel de la Plage is located south West of the Big Island over the lagoon Ifaty. It is 40 km from Tulear, in the Gulf of Mozambique. It is a haven of peace between the turquoise waters of the lagoon and the dry forest vegetation. Hotel de la Plage is situated on the beachfront of the beautiful lagoon that surrounds Ifaty and offer guests a heavenly retreat to enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
Blending in harmoniously with the awesome environment, Hotel de la Plage comprises of adorable bungalows lying between the aquamarine waters of the lagoon and the beach. The perfect beach haven shows the character of the local fishing communities and the natural beauty of Ifaty.
Each bungalow offers all the comforts necessary for the well being of clients. They are Ventilated, and equipped with private bathrooms with hot water.
The Hotel de la Plage Restaurant is an area of 260 m² at the top of the dune. It offers one of the most beautiful views of the reef and offers French cuisine. Malagasy specialties are essential. As well as grilled fresh zebu including fish and lobster local flavors.
At the bar you can enjoy the warmth of the tropics in cocktails with or without alcohol. On the terrace you can enjoy the sea breeze, admire the magnificent view of the lagoon and enjoy the sunset in the evening.
