Le Jardin du Roy is a luxury lodge near the southern boundary of Isalo National Park located south west of Madagascar. Built from granite to blend in with the landscape, it is a great place to take time to relax and enjoy great views or explore the local surroundings.
Le Jardin du Roy is built in such a way that it blends into the sandstone rocks in the background. It is a cosy lodge with good quality accommodation and great views. The main lodge looks down over a long stretch of lawn, which ends in towering sandstone cliffs.
The inside of the standard rooms very much echoes the landscape outside, with polished wooden floors, granite walls and deep red fabrics reflecting the bougainvillea in the garden. All of the rooms are on suite and have a small veranda where you can relax with a great view of the cliffs.
Enjoy an excellent meal prepared by skilled chefs at the cosy restaurant with a fireplace.

Guided walks can be arranged from Jardin du Roy into the Isalo National Park and these can include visits to the Canyon des Singes and Canyon des Rats which are cut into the sandstone. Horses are available, and rides or hikes can be organised in the surrounding countryside.
